DETAILED SCENE ON OLD NEWSPAPER RACK FOR WALL
This is Swedish folk art at it's very very best. This is all hand made and hand painted from the early 1800s, a delightful Swedish wedding scene, outdoors and with great detail, color, and festivities. It has the words, "TIDNINGAR", which means newspaper. The bottom of this folds out to hold the daily news, however the flap also folds up for hanging flat on the wall. It is 15 3/4" long and 11" wide. Please look closely at the detail on this, the expressions on the faces, the little girl pulling her little horse, while everyone looks with glee at this fantastic celebration. It is in great condition for it's age. There is a very small crack at the bottom but only for a short distance and not all the way to the top.
