Hälsingland wall cabinet with original decorative painting from the early 1800's. This is a magnificent piece, with the wonderful decoration so typical of Hälsingland, and in the original paint. As you may or may not know, pieces from Hälsingland are extremely rare and hard to find, and this one is a special treasure. Notice the wonderful painted interior and the 2 drawers. Also there is a very very heavy and sturdy bracket at the top for hanging on the wall. Just wonderful.

This is a most beautiful vintage wall cabinet painted in Sweden about 20 years ago by a famous painter who is now famous for his modern art wall cabinets. However, this one is very traditional in design and colors and in wonderful condition. It is 21 1/2" tall, 15 3/8" wide and 8 1/8" from front to back. It is signed on the inside door and has the original key. This type of cabinet in no longer available by this artist and it is amazingly beautiful. Please email any questions, it is a one only. Painted wall cabinet in the old style of Swedish wall cabinets, this one inspired by the Hälsingland style of cabinets. It is 21 3/4" high and 16 1/2" wide and 8" deep. On the outside swirling the ribbon over the cloud paintings, it says in Swedish, "Jag älskar Sverige tum för tum vid varje steg jag tar, det vilar, över Sveriges mark en stamning underbar". In English, the translation is as follows,"I love Sweden, inch for inch with every step I take it lays over Sweden's land a feeling great.". It is newly painted and signed.

This wall cabinet is not extremely old but it IS extremely Swedish. It is from the 1950s but we bought it because it was made entirely by an older man in the countryside outside of Rättvik. The decorative painting which he did is not signed but it is wonderful and just shouts "SWEDISH". It is 20" tall, 18 1/2" wide, and 7 3/4" deep. It has been used so there is some stains inside the cabinet on the shelves, but it only enhances the look of this. We loved the total Swedish feel of this cabinet and although it is not signed and it is not extremely old, I guarantee that it will be a magnificent touch of Sweden in your home.
