Made by K&E Carlson, in Goteborg, Sweden, under the name Cesons Guldvaru AB. (Both names are given, as the company changed names in the 1950's.) Original date unknown, probably mid 20th century. Small figurines on each piece Each piece is approximately 5 1/2 inches in length. $65.00

Norwegian child's toy bench painted in the Ös style from 1920s. It is beautifully painted and sweet, and is 6 5/8" long, and 5 3/4" high. Direct from Norway.

Circa 1870 , this large rocking horse is from the Gemla Toy Factory , which operated in Southern Sweden from 1850 to 1920, and is a wonderful example of their work. The factory was named after the town in which it was located, in Gemla, Sweden. The rockers are 44" long and the horse is 26" long and 26" high. There is one stirrup missing and there has been some repair to the rockers.

Child's hobby horse from Sweden, circa early 1900s, this horse is in good condition and can be ridden without any repair. It is 26" long and 26" tall. On our last buying trip, we found one of these and it lasted on the website 3 days. smile. This is extremely rare and the only one we have like this. We do have a rocking horse on our website a bit different than this one but both of these are old and wonderful and from Sweden, enjoy.

Stepback Child's Scandinavian Cupboard
This is a vintage child's painted cupboard in old red and white paint. It is delightful and could be used also for showing off your collectables if you are little girl grown up, after all, a grandma is just a grown up little girl, smile. This cabinet is 30 1/2" X 18 1/4" and the depth is 8" at the top and 11" at the bottom. Enjoy.

This is a very old and very petite small doll cradle that is very delicate yet sturdy to be so very old and yet enjoyed for so long in another country. It is from Scandinavia and some of the detailed flowers still show beautifully. It is 8" long, 5 1/4" from front to back, and 5 3/8" tall. The flowers on each inside end seem to be decals and one of them is almost gone but the other end is still colorful and mostly in tact. There are no markings of any kind and the paint looks to be the original and very old. It is delightful.

We purchased this in Sweden and it is an adorable children's store set, complete with scales, drawers for the dried goods, canisters and everything needed for a little store. It is very very wonderful and on the front says "Barn Butik", or "children's store". The box, or storefront, smile, is 16" X 10" and 3" deep. There is one weight missing for the scales. This is so sweet that I can barely part with it but have no space in my own home, sighhhhhh. Please email any questions. Children could use it, but actually it is a "big girl's toy".
