Gateleg table from Sweden from the 1700's, with original paint and just a hint of some old decorative painting on the blue.  Wonderful drawer, and the patina of this pieces makes you wish it could tell you of the many dinners served here.  The table has drop leaves on each side.  A swinging brace supports the individual leaves.  When closed, the table measures 19 3/4 inches wide (50.2 cm), 44 3/8 inches long (112.6 cm), and stands 27 3/4 inches high (70.5 cm). When the table is fully opened, the width is 70 inches (177.7 cm).  The table is strong enough to be used with only one leaf opened.  The weight is approximately 150 pounds (68.2 kg).
