Swedish colors for spring! This framed Swedish postcard is taken from a 1944 textile with a Midsommar scene. The frame is blue stained pine, (10x12) and the picture is 5x6. Wonderful oil painting on canvas, "Water Lilies in Sweden.” Painted by renown Swedish artist June Anderson Evanoff, who is well known for her florals, seascapes and landscapes. Painting is framed in a two-toned wooden frame, and measures 19 ½ by 23 ½ altogether.

GIGANTIC 53" X 102" painted Swedish canvas. This is from a Swedish estate and is beautifully painted on a heavy canvas. We believe it to be from a wall mural. We contacted our resources in Sweden and they feel that it is from the 1900s. Some of the translation reads "Now nice to have a joyful time with you dear lady, you flatter me, old boy". Our Swedish contact thinks that it might be from a play in Dalarna called Himlaspelet, performed in Dalarna each year. We just do not know the origin of it, but it is delightful and large. It would certainly make a Swedish statement in any room where it would be placed.

Swedish children dancing in the summer is what this picture is all about. It has been framed beautifully, with a sunshine matting and some red and gold in the frame, just amazingly framed, which only enhances this lovely print. It is a vintage print but in fantastic condition as far as we can see. The completed size of the picture is 21 1/2" X 25 1/2" and the actual size of the print is 12 1/2" X 15 1/2". Enjoy,

Beautiful poster of Denmark commemorating 90 years of Amagerbanken, one of the most prominent banks in Denmark. It is so very whimsical and whimsical and is 39 1/2" X 27 1/2". It arrived to us with a crack on the corner of the glass, so we recommend that we ship this to you unframed and rolled. The frame with the broken glass is extremely heavy so to ship this damaged frame would not be justified. We are keeping it in the frame to avoid any damage. Enjoy, whether you are Danish or not, it is a delightful picture and shows many Scandinavian flags as well as other country's flags, at the top upper left of the picture.

THE SWEDES LOVE ANY COLOR AS LONG AS IT IS BLUE !!! Well, you will love this print, by famous Stockholm artist, Greta Lann. It shows a table all set for tea and cookies with the flowers in the window blooming so beautifully and the scene beckons you in to also have some tea. You will love this or as a gift for a special friend, this would be outstanding. It is 11" X 14" and is covered in plastic to preserve the print, so the colors will be a bit brighter than it shows here. Enjoy.

This is another wonderful print by Stockholm artist, Greta Lann. Her work has been compared by art collector's to Carl Larsson and we feel that her work will be an investment. Of course, this is a print, but it is personally signed by her, and this print is beautifully drawn and so typically Swedish. It is 11" X 14".

The Swedish fiddler, size 20" X 25". We purchased this painting in Sweden and after it came back in our container, we looked for it in some of our Zorn books, as it seemed familiar. We could not find it so we wrote to the Zorn museum in Sweden. They answered back that "this is a copy of Anders Zorn's painting of the violinist Hins Anders, painted in 1904. The original is owned by the Thielska museet in Stockholm, but was unfortunately stolen some years ago and not as yet found". We again checked the name on this one and it says "F.Fonsen, copy,47".

Rättvik girl old print, framed in exquisite old frame . 22 1/2" X 17 1/2",

Bergen, Norway, fishmarket. Personally signed and numbered by the artist, it is whimsy print showing each "person" in the print as a fishhead, smile. It is 26" X 20" and full of fun and delight. This artist is very well known in Norway, Atelier Hetland. You can see his work on his website at post@hetlandbilder.no Please note the frozen mermaid in the block of ice.

This is an offset lithograph reproduction of the original, with colors done in layers mechanically, rather than hand done. It is impossible to know exactly how many of these were made.

It is 18 1/2" X 21 1/2" to the outside of the frame,and the actual cloth size is 10 1/2" X 13 1/2".
