This is a beautiful hand felted bag purchased from a gallery in Gamla Stan in Stockholm, Sweden. It is just beautiful, and too beautiful to even use, so I have had it hanging on the wall to just enjoy. It is just wonderful and hand made and very arty. The size is 12" wide and 9" high, not counting the handles. Look at the beautiful checkerboard handle, also felted. Enjoy. $65.00
bottom right corner above is sold, the red and blue hearts, in the large size center middle large one on bottom row SOLD large one on top row, 2nd from left, SOLD Lovely Swedish folkdråkt handbags, to wear with your Swedish costume. They are exquisitely hand stitched with beautiful designs inspired by old ones from Sweden. The larger ones are 8 1/2" and 9 1/2" long and are $95.00. The smaller ones are 6 1/2" long and are $55.00. We purchased these from a lady at the midsommar festival at Gammelgarden, in Scandia Minnesota, where we had a most wonderful time celebrating midsommar in this beautiful place. The landscape is so very similar to Sweden that had I not known, I would have thought that I was in Sweden. The people there, and the celebration, which included many performers from Sweden, was delightful and memorable. Enjoy these bags. thank you.
These beautiful floral wreaths are head garlands made in Sweden at the Charlotte Weibull factory, and are to be used for midsommar or for a bridal wreath worn with the traditional folk costume. We have two of these and we have greatly reduced them so that they can be enjoyed this midsommar for your festival. The factory is not making them anymore, so if you get one of these, you will have something totally unique and made in Sweden by this wonderful doll maker, Charlotte Weibull. She is still living and is about 95 but the dolls and items from her factory are not being produced any more, but her shop is now a museum. You can see her and the factory on the web page with her name. Please email any questions. Tack så mycket.

These 3 bags are Swedish folk art, made from leather and fur from Sweden, inspired by folk costume bags from Sweden which can be worn with your Swedish costume. The ideas, the material, the leather, and fur was brought back from Sweden and made by a Swede in the U.S. There are 3 designs which we will describe for you. All of these bags are 2 sided with different designs on each side. They are all leather with fur trim, and they are all lined. Each of the sizes are a bit different. No. 1 is called "Dalarna" and represents midsummer with the midsummer pole on one side and on the other side is a bright sun which represents the long summer days. It is 9 1/2" X 7 1/4". Please view both sides on the pictures. No. 2 is called "Fabodkulla" , which means summer farm girl" and represents the girls and women who work at a summer farm where they actually stay to tend the flocks. On this one, you will see the hills (fur) and the trees and tiny animals on the hills (you will see this by the small pieces of fur attached). There are still about 600 to 700 summer farms in Dalarna. Some are inhabited and some are used as holiday cottages. It is 12" X 8" and please see both sides. They are similar but with different trees. No. 2 is called "Midnight sun" and represents the midnight sun as it dances on the horizon. On the other side, there is a heart to show the love in seeing this wonderful phenomena. It is 9" X 8".
