Old and Rare! Charming 3-pronged Christmas candleholder, made with Swedish whimsy and flair! White base with green, red and gold accents. This candleholder has the most beautiful worn patina for an elegant, yet rustic look! Exact age unknown, but probably from the early 1920's. 16 1/2 inches tall.

This most beautiful tile by Rorstrand is vintage but is like new. It is large, at 6 3/8" X 8", and shows the beautiful painting by Jenny Nystrom of a Swedish tomte holding a young boy who is holding a bouquet of tulips. The is a porcelain tile that has been fired in a kiln so can be used any way any tile is used, grouted into a wall or wherever you choose to use it. It also could be used for the Christmas table as a hot plate holder to protect the table.

This is a large size hand painted tile of two Victorian children walking in the woods and bring home a Christmas tree that they have just cut. The scene is from a famous painting. This one is signed by the artist, and the size is 8'' X 10". All Swedish people love tomtes at Jul time, and this one has 3 tomtes on each side of this candleholder by Rörstrand of Sweden. It is called "God Jul" (Merry Christmas), and it has been painted by hand, as it is marked on the bottom. The heads are face first on both sides, so on a dining room table, it would be fantastic. Early 1900s Nisse all around this old porcelain bowl. Delightful in the Porsgrund designs, but marked on the bottom Gefle. 9 1/2" ear to ear, bowl is 7 3/4" in diameter and it is 2 3/4" high. It looks like there are duplicate pictures here, but the design is the same on both sides. We have shown you pictures of both sides for you to see the condition all around the bowl.

This is an amazing set of original paintings from Denmark on canvas and in huge sizes, perfect for a Danish club or organization, or even to adorn the a wall of your home at Christmastime! Halmkrona
These lovely hanging Swedish decorations are called Halmkrona and are intricately hand made to delight the viewer, made of straw, small bits of felt , etc, and used most often at Christmas but they can be used all the year round if you prefer. Look closely at the detail and the delicate workmanship on them. They move ever so gently with a breeze and are so very, very Swedish. This is a fantastic hand felted tomte from Sweden, holding his bowl of porridge. It is beautifully made and an artistic piece of folk art from Sweden. The bowl is made of birch bark and the spoon is hand carved. His feet are made from a small log and he is signed on the bottom of his foot, JRG 02.He is 8" tall to the top of his hat and a smile that is covered by a luscious white beard. This is artist made and we purchased this in Sweden and we are not sure, but believe it came from Skansen, at their Christmas Market. Enjoy!
