Wonderful pair of candleholders (hold 1 cm thin candles) made in Lund, Sweden. Each is uniquely lathed and painted wood, with great detailing. Each are 8 inches tall and 6 inches wide, including arms. Originally sold in shop in Gamla Stan, (old town) Stockholm, Sweden.

Hanging Christmas candleholder from Hälsingland! This is very old and vary rare! Would have been traditionally used at Christmas, but would be beautiful any time of year! The red and green painted wood is beautifully worn, and has places for six candles. It is 24 inches tall, with a hook at the top ready for attachment. This beautiful black iron candleholder was purchased in Sundborn, Sweden, just down the road from Carl Larsson's home and is a replica of one in their home made by the local blacksmith. The blacksmith also lived just down the street from their home, where it has been since Carl and Karen lived there. It is 18" in diameter with room for 3 candles and has one electric candle in the center that flickers like a real candle. You can burn either the electric candle or the 3 real candles or both. The electrical heart in the center has been added to make it more interesting. This is a very traditional candleholder from old Sweden , all hand made with hearts and lovely design on the bottom. This Swedish hanging candleholder is a new version of an old tradition, made in the last 20 years. It is made of steel with a beautiful pewter color finish and is 18" in diameter. It holds giant candles and hand forged leaves dangle from the base of each candleholder. It is newer but beautiful and comes with many lengths of chain so it can be placed any height you wish.

This beautiful Boda crystal and iron candleholder was made in 1979, and is one of the last ones that they made. We have tried since to find more in Sweden. We were told that they were not being made anymore. The hearts are beautiful crystal that shimmer, when the candles are lit. It is in perfect condition and is 15" in diameter and from the top of the top crystal hearts to the bottom of the ones at the base is 22".

This candleholder shows the ingenuity of the Swedes. This candleholder can be used year round, just by changing the little pieces that come with it, from rings to yellow apples, to people all dressed ready for midsummer. The base of the candleholder is 7" tall and 7" in diameter and then when candles are added and decorations added, it is just very, very sweet and very, very Swedish. Enjoy, this candleholder is complete and like new , although vintage. Have some fun.

This beautiful candleholder of a Svenska flicka or Swedish girl. This type of candleholder is very popular in Sweden, especially in Dalarna and many businesses and homes have them in the windows of their home year round. We looked at many while we were there and the cost was upwards of $500. per pair and the wait was over 2 years to make them. So when we found this one (and a similar Christmas one if you are interested), we purchased them. She is very, very sweet and rather tall at 15 3/4" tall. She is painted on both sides so it could be used on a table as well.
