Great birch box in tina style!  Purchased at a market in Sweden, although it is possibly German originally. Painted with blues and yellows, for whimsically Scandinavian style.  Box is in great shape.

 Danish Wicker Basket/Trunk

 This beautiful trunk is made of sturdy wicker and can hold quite a lot, but is light enough that it is easy to move around! 18 inches by 30 inches, and 18 inches tall.  Hinges and clasp on front, with an iron pin that secures through two wicker loops.  Unique and very cute!

This is a most beautiful all hand made and hand painted basket from Sweden. It has original paint on it which says 1867 and initials, of TÅ. It has been beautifully made. We do notice that at some point, the bottom has been replaced but all of the rest of the basket is original and the bottom was replaced in keeping with the basket. We have shown you this in the pictures. It is a large size at 12 1/2" X 12 1/2" and 14" tall. There is also one small copper corner that was added many many years ago, but it adds to the charm and usefulness of this basket. Please mail any questions $295.00  SOLD
