GIGANTIC 53" X 102" painted Swedish canvas. This is from a Swedish estate and is beautifully painted on a heavy canvas. We believe it to be from a wall mural. We contacted our resources in Sweden and they feel that it is from the mid 1900s. Some of the translation reads "Now nice to have a joyful time with you dear lady, you flatter me, old boy." Our Swedish contact thinks that it might be from a play in Dalarna called Himlaspelet, performed in Dalarna each year. We just do not know the exact origin of it, but it is delightful and large. It would certainly make a great statement in any room, and would be a fabulous piece of art to have hanging in a family or dining room. Antique Tina Box

This is a beautiful antique tina box (svepask) from Sweden. This box is intricately painted with a floral design on the lid and back side, and a scene with a young girl standing in a field with birch and pine trees, and a log cabin in the background. The girl is wearing a traditional Swedish costume. The box is made of birch and is 12 ½ inches long, 5 tall, and 5 wide. It was originally used most likely for holding jewelry, small sewing supplies, or a lunch! You can use it for storing small treasures, or start a collection of tina boxes; they look fantastic grouped together on a small table or shelf! $395
